English for the Earth Sciences is an ESP textbook which is specifically designed for those studying Geology, Geography or other related fields at an academic level, but which can also be used by any student who wishes to learn English within the context of the natural sciences.
This textbook offers students a wide range of specialised vocabulary and grammatical principles which they can use to decipher the nuances of highly specialised scientific articles, as well as the plethora of semi-specialised materials freely available for English speakers.
With twelve units that contain vocabulary, grammar and text-based exercises, as well as tips and tricks for academic writing, English for the Earth Sciences teaches the academic basics of what any Geology student needs to know.

In 2013, a inceput sa predea limba engleza in cadrul departamentului de Limbi Moderne si apoi in cadrul departamentului de Engleza. Dupa sustinerea doctoratului pe teme legate de gotic si violenta in romanele lui Cormac McCarthy, aria acesteia de interes s-a extins la probleme de traductologie, adaptare sau reprezentare de gen.
