It is well known today in the modern international communication, the importance of specialized discourse, the volume and spectrum diversify and expand continuously by following the new economic conditions, socio-cultural, professional and policies. In this context, one can understand the increased attention given to the LSP in academic contexts, but also for the bodies responsible for the development and dissemination of the major languages of international communication.
Research on the LSP is one of the nuclei of applied linguistics and this both in its traditional areas - learning, translation, teaching, or teaching a foreign language, as in areas further away, such as the application of linguistics in the economy, administration, technical communication, etc.. The circle of stakeholders is not limited to researchers in the discipline, but includes all those with an interest in the study of technical and scientific languages.
