Clinical psychological evaluation is a staged, systematic, extremely complex process that addresses both psychic functions and the human personality, which must take into account a multitude of aspects that are often neither obvious nor apparent.
Before receiving drug treatment or psychological intervention, any client must go through this fundamental stage - the psychological evaluation that can make the therapy effective and appropriate. It is extremely important that the psychological evaluation that precedes the psychological intervention be performed based on clinical, multimodal and correct hypotheses, as presented in this volume.
The results of the clinical evaluation must, after the evaluation, be formulated in a professional, specialized language, common to psychology and psychiatry. The access of the future psychologists to this specialized vocabulary must be made from the faculty benches, the knowledge of the signs and symptoms of the mental diseases, of the main psychiatric semiological entities being extremely important. The aim of this book is to provide a reasonable set of specialized information approached in a didactic, fluid manner, starting from the basic principles and continuing with working methods, particular cases and analysis of various frameworks in which they can be put into practice.
The importance of the approached topic derives from the binomial information formation. This volume is therefore important from a formative perspective because it provides students, masters in psychology, psychologists with counseling skills, psychotherapy, clinical psychology, but also those with other skills, other mental health workers, a comprehensive guide to semiology of the manifestations of the normal or abnormal ways in which each psychic process and function can function, enriched with examples from the author's own casuistry or from the specialized literature, which considerably facilitates the understanding. The informative value comes from addressing the broad category of other people who are interested in the perspective of psychology on mental illness.

Thus, he obtained his doctorate at the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest in the field of Medical Psychology, attended training courses in Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy at the "International Institute for the Advanced Studies of Psychotherapy and Applied Mental Health" in Cluj Napoca, training in Systemic Couple Child Family Therapy, training in Clinical Psychology and is a university teacher at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of Hyperion University.
