Mathematical Research Eminescu's poetry is a tradition in our country.
We recall in this respect research on the frequency of Demetrius Macrea phonemes in some Eminescu's poems, in 1942, and research in the same area by D. Caracostea, also in 1942, both investigations are taking place with at least two years before the world is a book devoted to statistical methods in style. In the following period appeared many interesting works in this field.
For example, remember in this exciting research conducted by Louise Shechem, "Eminescu's artistic vocabulary in statistical perspective" on literary language and literature studies, Ed Acad 1969, Tudor Vianu "Statistics lexical and vocabulary problem Eminescu" in Romanian, year VIII, 1959, Solomon Marcus "Entropy et poétique Energy - à trois avec POESIES application of Eminescu" Cahiers of linguestique théorique et appliquée, vol 4, 1967, Nicolau, E., C. Hall, Roceric A ., "Remarks on the entropy of the Romanian language" in language studies and research, 1959, 10.1. so.
In this paper, "Mihai Eminescu. Statistical features and information, "University Publishing House, 2008, we calculated the values of such statistics (frequencies of letters overall, frequencies as initial and final letters words, the average number of distinct letters for lines, an indicator for comparing values redundancies, entropy and energy information, etc..), for a total of over 25 poems Eminescu, for comparison of these views.
In this paper we compare the values of statistical characteristics and information, calculated for samples of poems signed by M. Eminescu, V. Alecsandri Coşbuc G., T. Arghezi, I. Barbu (Dan Barbilian), G. Bacova, Radu Gyr and A. Paunescu. The diversity of styles and themes of the poems analyzed, and the sample size used, will allow us to estimate the values of these features poetic texts in Romanian. We will summarize the following features, entropy poetry, lyrics redundancy indicator R for comparison, the report "consonant - vowel" words by the number of syllables parts distribution, distribution of the number of distinct letters in the text of a certain length
