The guide is designed as an operational tool in the classroom management activity by the teacher. The present work comes to the aid of young teachers, at the beginning of their careers, the fundamental argument is the idea of the necessity of this guide through examples of good practices developed during meetings with parents. The purpose of this guide is to develop assertive and diplomatic communication skills with parents in the classroom. In this sense, the guide debates the need for methodological and theoretical mastery of a managerial approach during meetings with parents. The emphasis in this work is on communication, on the qualities that the teacher develops as a manager of the students' class.
During the meeting with parents, the teacher informs parents about the reality of the situation at the level of the student body. Together with parents, the teacher can build effective family-school partnerships through the real involvement of parents in the organizational activity. The teaching profession is on the one hand certified by the specialization itself, but on the other hand this profession is characterized by the skills in the field of communication and emotional-attitudinal skills that are reflected in flexible behaviors to attract and motivate others around them, to form an organizational, collective culture both at the level of children and at the level of parents.
The foundations of collective culture are laid within formal education. This work is structured on vital elements that a meeting with parents involves from a psychopedagogical point of view. The guide as it is designed helps teachers to conduct well-structured meetings, oriented towards effective collaboration with parents by practicing communication skills.
