This paper is a result of concerns of Mrs. Roxana Narcisa Mosteanu in the taxation of more than 10 years. It is divided into 10 chapters in which we find the contents of the tax and its ways of fighting, describing the structure of taxes and fees, key levers of fiscal policy. Chapters devoted to direct and indirect taxes reflect in detail their evolution, the impact on budget revenues and numerous concrete ways of calculation. In conclusion, this paper is the result of rigorous research reflecting the author's desire to provide those interested a valuable study on the evolution of taxation in Romania, which can be considered a very useful reference in developing future taxation policy.
