Risk management, innovation and sustainability in international business

Roxana Voicu-Dorobanţu is a lecturer in Risk Management in the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, a graduate of a Masters’ Programme in Capital Markets and Risk management (DAFI), a PhD in International Business and Economics with a thesis on sustainability and innovation in financial systems. She has been the recipient of various international scholarships in the European Union in topics related to risk management, innovation and sustainability. Apart from her academic involvement, Roxana takes part in a series of business projects in a consulting position, as well as community development projects.

This book presents, in an accessible manner for professionals, entrepreneurs and novices, the issue of managing operational and financial risk in relation to the need for constant innovation. Sustainability is a current topic for discussion, in particular in the context of the economic crisis, although generally the approach is limited to environmental sustainability. The book provides an overview of a hypothetical company that isboth innovative and environmentally, financially and socially sustainable.
