This synthetic and systematic work is not exhaustive, the fascinating field of studying the human mind being an extraordinarily vast and complex one. The book is addressed, first of all, to those who study the discipline of clinical hypnosis at Master's level. Of course, it can also be of interest to those who are already specialized in hypnotic techniques and want to have a concise theoretical guide at their disposal. Also, the knowledge in this book can be a guide for those who want to approach the fascinating field of psychism, to whom we wish success in this extraordinary activity.
I have included in this volume, as an integral part, some essays by some master's students of the Clinical Psychology Master of the Hyperion University in which they also teach the courses of Clinical Hypnosis and Clinical Investigation and Intervention in Enhanced States of Consciousness, as follows:
Albu Mihai, Nita Elisabeta: Hypnosis in the anesthesia and intensive care unit.
Arhip Florin: Elements of scientific research on clinical hypnosis.
Babiuc (Sitaru) Catalina Magdalena, Pieleanu (Ciobanu) Monica Gabriela: Therapeutic metaphor.
Banariu Gheorghe Mihail, Dumitru Evelina-Petruta: Ideodynamic reactions in hypnotic trance.
Filip Ovidiu Florentin: The use of metaphors in psychotherapy.
Hagiu (Ilina) Corina Cecilia: Milton Erickson's hypnotic language.
Ivan Elena: The Hypnotic Language of Milton Erickson.
Kazanas Alexandra: Hypnotherapy for stress management.
Le-Page Alexandru, Neagoe George: The relationship between memory and hypnosis.
Matache Goicea Daniela: Therapeutic metaphor - directed metaphor.
Micu (Ion) Florentina-Daniela: Management of the smoking habit using hypnosis.
Moga Catalina Gabriela: Hypnotherapy in anxiety.
Radulescu (Lazarescu) Gina-Beatrice: Awareness, relaxation, meditation, hypnosis: the path from thesis, antithesis to synthesis in the deep integration of human experience.
Uzunia Ana Maria, Constantin (Mitroescu) Andreea Stefania: Hypnotic induction in hypnotherapy.

The work "Clinical Hypnosis" represents a training course and deepening of hypnotic techniques for master's students of the program: "Clinical Psychology and Psychological Counseling". This work can also be useful to other master's students, doctors or psychologists who want to specialize in the field of hypnotherapy. The work is based on an extensive and up-to-date bibliographic documentation, having a systematic character, a fact that makes it even more attractive. We particularly note the originality of the work and the harmonious combination of theoretical and practical aspects.
The author is a doctor in Psychology and Military Sciences, with a neuroscience theme in which he experimentally demonstrated the role of relaxation and hypnosis in altered states of consciousness as well as the existence of mental connectivity between sensory and spatially isolated subjects.
We warmly recommend this work and consider it one of the most interesting and useful courses, published in the country and abroad.
Univ. Assoc. Aliodor Manolea is an exceptional teacher, a very talented researcher who approaches a niche field in our country, namely: altered states of consciousness, measured with laboratory equipment. At the same time, he is a talented counselor and psychotherapist with very good results in the field of optimizing human performance and treating neuropsychic and psychosomatic dysfunctions.
