The Milky Way is a story for children, but not only that, but it is also a dream that is so well confused with the perceived reality that you no longer know which one is which and which the other, Daria - the main character - walking with the same nature in the two worlds.
VIOREL IONITA (alias LEONIDA IVEL) was born in Voluntari commune, at that time a slum of Bucharest. He graduated from the Faculty of History-Philosophy in Bucharest (1978), and he started "scribbling paper" a little later, considering that the "sin of writing" is too hard to commit. Although he received a lot of encouragement, he later decided to make his productions known, the one who hosted him first (and encouraged him) was Mrs. Voichita Veres, director of Napoca-Nova Publishing House, where he published a long series of (poetry and short prose), in about twenty Anthologies of contemporary Romanian literature. In 2020, his novel Monarch Butterfly  was published by Cartea Romaneasca Publishing House, a novel that enjoyed favorable appreciations. In addition to The Milky Way, he has written two books for children and youth, Viscount de Valverde and Queens, books that are waiting for another publisher. The same happens with the groups of poems (A mask laughs ..., .... a mask cries and the Chronicle of the Romans). We can also mention his belonging to the Literary Cenacle The poetry factory, coordinated by Georgiana Mihaila, as well as the prize for poetry, awarded at the 3rd Edition (2021) of the contest The praise of love, organized by Frienship Literary Cenacle.

In order to write children's books, you must, first of all, "give in the children's minds", which was not very difficult for me, the return to the early years being for me a recurring condition. The second condition was that of taking the pen in hand, a more difficult task initially, the pen not wanting in the first moments to sit in the correct position. But I somehow managed to discipline him, and so the Milky Way, The Viscount of Valverde and The Queens were born, the first finally finding a host: Editura Universitara. The Milky Way is a story for children, but not only that, but it is also a dream that is so well confused with the perceived reality that you no longer know which one is which and which the other, Daria - the main character - walking with the same nature in the two worlds.
About me I can add that I was born long enough, and my literary curriculum includes a fairly long series of writings (usually poems), which appeared in anthologies written by Mrs. Voichita Veres and published by her publishing house, Napoca Nova; also, a prize won at the Radu Carneci National Contest (2020), organized by Arena Literara.
Finally, I can mention the appearance, last year, at the Cartea Romaneasca Publishing House, of the novel Butterfly Monarh Butterfly. All my writings were published under the pseudonym Leonida Ivel, as I signed The Milky Way.

Sincerely yours,
Viorel Ionita
