Banks and credit companies have lately proved to be one of the levers that allowed the Romanian society to evolve, and who sustained economic growth led to improved living standards. On the other hand, adverse conditions, such leverage with reduced functionality can generate an adverse effect on the whole society. Hence, the importance of knowledge and understanding of the banking system mechanisms that govern them, to allow economic actors, and the population to better assess the role that banks can play in their evolution.
