This paper is addressed equally to students from the human profile who study sociology in high school, and to teachers who teach this discipline. The content of the guide faithfully respects the study and baccalaureate programs, being a useful tool in preparing students in the 11th grade, but also those in the 12th grade who choose to take the written test of their choice in the sociology discipline.

The paper is structured in three parts. Part I contains the theoretical landmarks provided by the study and baccalaureate programs, which are accompanied by a generous number of recommended exercises and learning activities. In part II is the complete solution of the model baccalaureate topic proposed for 2020, as well as 20 baccalaureate tests accompanied by solving guidelines and assessment scales. Part III consists of an alphabetical list of sociological terms (a mini-dictionary), which helps to complete the theoretical landmarks and to expand the possibility of students' understanding of social phenomena and processes.

Theoretical landmarks are useful to students in that they are structured to facilitate understanding.

Through the exercises and learning activities recommended in the first part, the guide also comes to the aid of teachers, who offer them the opportunity to conduct interactive and interesting lessons.

Starting from my own teaching experience, I found that, although students have specialized knowledge, they do not always obtain the expected grade at the baccalaureate exam, because it does not fit correctly in the requirements of the exercises. Therefore, we consider that a possible option to solve the model subject for 2020 is of real use to students.

The 20 model tests proposed and accompanied by solving guidelines and assessment scales offer students immediate feedback and the opportunity to check for themselves the level of training and performance achieved.

We hope that, having at our disposal the guide elaborated by us, the interest for the study of sociology will increase, and the preparation for the baccalaureate exam will be as easy as possible and with the best results.
