He started college at the University of Bochum, Germany, where he studied film, theater and philosophy. After a year he quit college to work at a newspaper. In 2007 historical novel - THE vow - was filmed by the famous German director Dominik Graf. Kai Meyer also wrote screenplays, two of which have already been screened.
