This paper addresses a very topical subject, if we realize that education in general and especially higher education worldwide seeking solutions adequacy and connection requirements of knowledge society in which mankind entered. Solutions to solve this grand problem experienced by most developed countries are temporary, far from being verified in various aspects of efficiency. In Romania, despite some concerns and even some successes can determine the existence of generalized seizures, starting and ending with the results of insufficient funding, the byproducts of higher education, the inability of most graduates to achieve performance that involves theory and practice the knowledge society.

The work is not only topical, but also of special importance. Education in general and especially the university is by far the most important structure of the knowledge society. Education, especially today when integrates scientific research, has the task of ensuring resource base, only able to achieve the necessary scientific innovation and creation innobilarii human activity, planetary resources to save, create new resources, avoid pollution and made compatible laws of human behavior with the laws of physics, the planet Earth and the universe as a whole.

Finally, besides topical and important work, and proves to be extremely useful by targeting them in addressing the hottest issues of management of higher education in our country. In this regard, the utility work, the most important criterion for proper appreciation of it, are revealed by correlating and connecting the Romanian education issues with European and international education, managing to unravel clearly problematic directions of radical improvement of the Romanian higher education management, the solving the crisis is really the fulfillment and performance of its building the knowledge society.

Scientific contributions of this work, visible at different levels, required attention in these ways:

1. The work is focused on understanding the most important components of management ergonomic higher education, namely: requirements related to teaching - learning activity determined by examination requests, demands arising from scientific research and student demands derived from the relationship teachers and higher education institution.

2. The work is an important increase of scientific knowledge since the study's conclusions are made strictly on the causes that affect work efficiency in higher education, which retains the causes of attention: the allocation of learning time required by random criteria, unclear expression of learning objectives, review activities in non-integration teaching - learning, poor communication between teachers and students, addressing scientific research almost exclusively as an individual activity, performance targets teachers in scientific research are unrealistic, non-involvement of students in research, students in dealing with disappointment reduced input capabilities active life, lack of selection practices and student orientation specialization depending on their skills, students are not perceived, nor is autopercep teachers as partners and institutions of higher education; weaknesses in establishing necessary working time teachers to

3. The paper says that a truly remarkable contribution to the causes and conclusions from the analysis performed are processed at a higher level as the main directions of action and final coherent presented as an outline of a strategy for improving the management of higher education. Among these components outlining: location learning time of students on scientific, expressing in a clear, measurable learning objectives and mobilizing, assessing students' knowledge to be correlated as much with the objectives of learning, scientific research personnel teaching to be organized in research groups and among them to realize the individualization of team members, need to promote a mentality that encourages highly complex mental effort that requires scientific research, involving students in research work to focus, primarily on the need to investigate properties of the phenomena studied skills, promote partnership between students and teachers and between them and the institution of higher education, professional orientation of students to rely as much, if not exclusively, on skills, time scaling the staff work on active learning and complex demands of scientific research, as well as those of health maintenance and preservation of family relationships.
The scientific value of these principles - strategic directions resulting action, as I said, so the fact that they are removed from the realities of Romanian research in several institutions of higher education, and of their supporting data and information from European Union countries have made strides in promoting modern education able to contribute strongly to achieving sustainable knowledge society and economy.

4. This paper is a methodological contribution, an appropriate model of higher education research management issues through its research components by their logical sequence and the research methods chosen, it becomes a genuine research methodological guidance efficiency of education management education in Romania. It can be used successfully in other subsequent research.
