The volume "The Stairs of Heaven" is an attempt to crystallize philosophical ideas and concepts into poetic images, to describe with the help of poetry the plasticity of thought, thus creating a unique imaginary geography. The poems in the volume were developed over a fairly long period, starting from the author's adolescence and up to the current moment of publication.
Actor Constantin Codrescu gave meaning to the verses stuck in the manuscript, enlivened them with his masterful voice, giving them a new life, beyond words. He confessed that the poems that were proposed to him for recitation are jewels that deserve to come out of the box where they are kept to meet the public. Thus, the poems included in the volume can be listened to in the unique recitation of actor Constantin Codrescu through QR codes attached to each title.
Horațiu Mălăele's graphic works form a map of ideas that unfold on almost every page, bringing readers, in a concentrated form, sometimes with humorous touches, the outline of the ascending path often characterized by a serious tone. He manages to blur, in a single movement, the oppressive feeling of the effort of climbing stairs.
