Escape from reality, promise and burning desire make Alexandru, a child, student, adult, an authentic character, who constantly fights and seeks the dreamed ideal.
Although he participates in social experiences - meetings with friends in clubs, evenings spent in the dormitory full of mice or artistic experiences - the hallucinatory installation with the role of interactive theater -, Alexandru's questions grow tumultuously and his revolt against the lies around him becomes increasingly accentuated.
Andrei Ungureanu's novel is a formative book, shaping a spiritual attitude in the tumult of current life.
And Alexandru's dream comes and returns, in the early light of the World, with the force of a total liberation.

ANDREI UNGUREANU is a young Romanian prose writer, born in June 1992, in Mușcel. He debuted in 2021 with the short prose volume ’’Stories and events from the land of smoke’’, at Rafet Publishing House.
In 2022, he won the Grand Prize of the ’’First novel’’ competition organized by Litera Publishing House, for the volume ’’The birth of a hero’’ and his book was published. He also won other literary awards.
He has published in numerous literary magazines, including Fiction Eight Motives, Mesomorph, Silvane Notebooks, Euphorion, Argo, Liternautica, Argeș, Literary Valcea etc.
His second novel, ’’Gava nebunul’’, won the first prize at the ’’Fulfill a Dream’’ Competition organized by Editura Universitara in 2024.
