Dear children,
This book was born from the story-telling game with Mihăiță, my five-year-old grandson. That's why I dedicate it to him, but also to you, because a grandmother loves all children.
After getting to know Snow White, Puss in Boots, Rapunzel and others, you will now meet new characters, who I hope will spark your interest and open the door, through their mischief, to the meanings of this big world you are starting to enter.
Stay close to books! They are, besides your parents, your best friends, a cure for moments of loneliness and a great advisor who doesn't give you a hard time.
Maybe when you grow up you will write stories too, for those who come after. I would be happy if that were the case!

Ten stories for empathetic dwarfs aims, as the title suggests, to develop empathy, the keystone of the educational process. Because it is no coincidence that the first thing we teach a child is to caress, not to hit, to protect. An empathetic child becomes "good" (wise) faster, and the fruits of the parents' work are not long in coming. An empathetic child is an empathetic person when he grows up, who will contribute to the order and harmony of the world. That is why we have placed empathy as the central value in each story, and around it, as in an ever-moving constellation, others that are also precious: friendship, mercy, mutual assistance, effort, modesty, a sense of balance, love for family, respect for nature, dignity. Several characters are animals, and the typical formula "once upon a time" is meant to unleash the imagination. Accompanied by delicate illustrations by the painter Tana Dinu, the work is mainly aimed at children aged 5-9, but also at older ones who can find less apparent meanings. These are stories that develop sensitivity and character and move not only through what happens, but also through the music of the phrase and the suggestiveness of the expression.

„10 povești pentru pitici empatici” este o colecție de povestiri fermecătoare, scrise cu mult suflet și menite să îi învețe pe cei mici despre empatie, bunătate și înțelegerea celor din jur. Teodora și Ilinca, fetițele mele, au fost cucerite de personajele și întâmplările din carte, iar fiecare poveste a fost o oportunitate minunată de discuție și reflecție împreună.
ReplyIlustrațiile realizate de Tana Dinu completează perfect tonul delicat și cald al textelor, aducând la viață emoțiile și lecțiile transmise.
Recomand cu toată inima această carte părinților care doresc să le insufle copiilor valori frumoase încă de mici. Este o lectură potrivită pentru vârstele 4-9 ani, dar sincer, e o bucurie și pentru sufletele mari.
