In memoriam Marco. I. Barasch. The United States of Europe. The juridical socialism

In the consciousness of today's generation of lawyers, Marco I. Barasch has a special place as a pioneer, with the gift to project  a clear image of what Romanian science could become.
 

Preocupied on both the labor law (just born), public international law or civil law - Marco I. Barasch sought in all these branches as legal foundation of the paradigm of solidarity: social solidarity contract, international solidarity.
 

Read in this key, the alignment proposed in this volume, of a memorable conference of United States of Europe and the brilliant thesis held in Paris by the author - does not appear surprising.

His  thesis on legal socialism spirit strongly influenced by French socialists of the moment, is based on the general idea of ​​solidarity.
 

And today, when we witness both in industrial and social relations of a  dissolution of solidarity, I think that we ought to go back to this fundamental concept, on which the brilliant jurist dropped attention.
