On March 29, 2018, in the Hall of the Central University Library "Carol", took place the AWARDS Gala of the ACADEMY OF SCIENTISTS FROM ROMANIA for 2016.

During the event, the most valuable scientific papers made by members of AOSR in fundamental fields of science and research, structured on the Sections of the institution, were awarded.

During this edition of the Gala, the Romanian Academy of Scientists awarded the "Alexandru D.
