Book launch at Bookfest 2023: Acacia Leaf by Zvetlana Preoteasa
"A book for the soul where you find love and meet God. A book about courage, freedom, truth and, above all, sacrifice". This is how Zvetlana Preoteasa describes the story from the novel ACACIA LEAF (FRUNZA DE ACACIA) released on Friday, May 26, at the Literary Cafe within the Bookfest 2023 International Book Fair.
In the presence of a large audience, Zvetlana Preoteasa spoke with great love about her first novel, a story for the soul and reason beautifully told in over 500 pages. The discreet scent of the acacia flower was felt in the air, which, as the moderator of the event, Mrs. Silvia Osman, said, you can't forget what you've discovered.
Starting from the real story of the Greek pirate Gheorgheos Kontoguris, nicknamed Kara Seitan by the authorities, Zvetlana Preoteasa managed to write the history of Sulina from 1870 differently than we know it from the history books, scented of course with a beautiful love story.
The book launch event was a success and a great win for the readers and those present. At the Literary Cafe, Catalin Barsan and Victor Constantin Vladut talked about the novel.
The author offered autographs to those present at the stand of the Editura Universitara.
