"Suddenly, a wounded Hungarian suddenly got up from where he had fallen and, with his sword raised, wanted to hit the king. Everything happened so fast that no one noticed him, except Klaus, the Duke Francon who was standing near him. Instinctively he pulled hard on the horse's bridle. He jumped on two legs, and the noble Klaus managed to hit the Hungarian in full, killing him.
How the francon fell from the horse, losing consciousness for a short time, no one knew. He had probably taken too far, wanting to defend his king.
When he recovered, a crowd of knights stood around him, and the king smiled friendly at him:
"Noble Klaus, many thanks!" You saved my life! Who would have thought? I don't know why, but sometimes I felt like I didn't like it.
- That was the mistake. I didn't realize until now how much I value and admire you.
The king laughed with the others and made a joke, as was his custom:
"I hope you don't change your mind after you fully recover."
