Beyond the colored fence, it addresses an extremely delicate topic, both for young people and for their parents: drug use, with all that it implies. It is a lucid, sharp narrative about addiction, withdrawal, depression, guilt, the desire for validation, doubled by a teenage love story, with idealism and age-specific naivety. But, to the same extent, it is also about the inner strength that is found in each of us. Despite their apparent weakness, the protagonists fight hard to overcome their traumas and control their addiction.

CRISTINA CENTEA is the winner of the Polirom Junior 2020 manuscript competition, with the sci-fi novel for children Alex Blue, the extraterrestrial boy (Polirom, 2020), the publishing house where she is also preparing the second volume, Alex Blue and the journey through the portal. Also after winning a competition, he published the novel Tablet and the Forbidden Castle (Editura Universitara, 2021). ReplyEste totodată o poveste care îndeamnă la empatie, înțelegere, la aflarea cauzelor care au generat ceea ce trăiesc cei doi și prietenii lor. Și o încercare de a arata altora - adolescenților, in primul rand-niste experiențe despre care este mai bine doar sa citească.
