By its formative nature, the work Biochemistry - course for students is addressed to students from the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Dental Medicine and supports their training as future specialists in the field of health.
This course is structured in several chapters, in which the general notions and particular examples related to the structure of proteins, enzymes, vitamins, nucleic acids and hormones are presented. Also, the correlation of the chemical structure of different biomolecules with the functions they perform in the body comes to the aid of students in their effort to understand biochemical processes. The knowledge of the fundamental disciplines ensures the subsequent training in specialized notions, as well as the understanding of the mechanisms of various pathologies.
The methodological principles of this work reflect the need to select and assemble some concepts, in accordance with the current requirements of higher education.
