The book "Managing change and innovation - fundamental elements" of the second edition aims to provide a summary in the main elements of the theory of change management and innovation in organizations.
The book is mainly addressed to graduate from universities with teaching subjects "Managing change and innovation", "innovation management" or "change management". The book is useful and managers in R & D organizations from enterprises, private entrepreneurs, and all readers with interests in innovational management or research.
The content of the book is given over seven chapters. Chapter I deals with the concepts of organizational change and innovation. The following chapters contain basic information on the notions of change and innovation in the companies. I considered necessary to insert the knowledge of planned organizational change, communication and human resources in organizational change, company culture change, creativity and innovation in the process of change, innovation and problem management as a process innovation in SMEs. The book prepares the reader to understand the basic concepts of management research - development of organizational level.
Unlike the previous edition, second edition of the book contains information reviewed, updated or new in paragraphs: 6.4.1. - National System of Innovation 7.3. - Use information and communication technology (ICT) and innovative spirit in Romanian SMEs.
