Feeria de iarna is a scenario inspired by real facts and characters. The show Feeria de iarna written and directed by Theodora Herghelegiu in 1998 was really performed in kindergartens and schools and it was in the ephemeral repertoire of one of the first independent theater companies in post-December Romania, namely Teatrul Inexistent. Initiated and supported by directors and action Dana Voicu, Teatrul Inexistent produced and performed more than fifteen independent shows between 1998 and 2010 in more or less conventional spaces, mostly made after text written by the directors themselves. Coincidentally, I was close to these independent productions - I helped with the promotion by making posters or program notebooks, sometimes I was part of the technical team, and in one of them I even played. I wrote this script with the intention of paying homage to those days of freedom and independent theater.
