Cristina Sound - achievements in geography

Mrs. Dr. Cristina Sound is a representative of the elite research from the Institute of Geography of the Romanian Academy in Bucharest (where he served for 35 years between 1965 and 2000), and Higher Education, which operates continuously since 1998.

Teaching of scientific work but also reflect the essential characteristics of Orthodox Cristina his personality: sober, rigor, reliability, honesty, diligence and passion.

Having an initial geographical and biological training, was able to address aspects of biogeography, especially those of phytogeographic.

At the age of 70 years, on 24 November 2010, Mrs. Cristina is in full Orthodox teaching and promoting scientific consistently related to geography in general and especially biogeography.
Although the obligations of all kinds have asked a lot over the years, the achievements of Mrs. Cristina Orthodox teachers could not be obtained by human perseverance of true science.
