The work entitled Organization of the Romanian Orthodox Church in South Dobrogea (1913-1940) represents a comprehensive monograph of church life in the South Dobrogea region. This has as object of research and analysis the eparchial canonical affiliation and the territorial organizational structure of the four deaneries and the component parishes within the Durostor and Caliacra counties. The scientific approach undertaken by the author is supported by a consistent documentation and a pertinent analysis of the specialized literature.

The thesis is in the line of research regarding the knowledge of the Christian life, with all its confusions, from the Dobrogean space, in a well-defined period, full, however, of convulsions and changes. It is worth noting that the author has done a special job to reproduce as faithfully as possible the situation of the church administrative units, both in terms of their organization and in their actual life, with details related to the activity of archpriests, priests and staff servant The rich bibliography gives a note of authenticity and supports the scientific character of the work.

The author presents us with an interesting and current topic, which makes the work very well received. It is, moreover, the first work of this kind that deals in depth with an important stage in the life of our Church. In recent years, a series of scientific works have appeared that address the history of South Dobrogea - Quadrilater, especially the administrative and political organization. Old man Florin Dionisi completes the list of those who tackled such a topic, with very good results for a pioneering work. We appreciate the effort put in, but also the serious and thorough research of the topic.
