Clelia Ifrim is born in Bucharest, where she lives. She is a member of the Romanian Writers’Union, of IWA ‒ International Writers and Artists Association (USA), of JUNPA ‒ Japanese Universal Poets Association (Japan), lifetime honorary member of the Foundation for Open Culture “Naji Naaman” (Lebanon).
Princess Noble Title conferred by the Foundation “Saint Sava”.
She published over 30 books – poetry, drama, novel, short prose, essays about haiku and tanka, translations.
Romanian National Prize “Vasile Voiculescu” for the poetry book “The hatching hen and the stone chicks”, 2015.
Medal and diploma “Mihai Eminescu” conferred by the European Foundation and International Poetry Academy “Mihai Eminescu” for Romanian and International Cultural merits.
“Grand Prix Matsuō Basho” Festival, Japan 2011.
Best Books for the haiku book “My Loved Japan” (The Japan Times), 2011
Three of her poetry books have been translated into Japanese by Mariko Sumikura and published by JUNPA Books (Japan).
Two of her poems have been selected by JAXA ‒ Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency ‒ and stored aboard the space module KIBO, on the ISS ‒ International Space Station.

More over, I have found in her poetry, as a method, many cyphered poems, namely metaphors with a code.

This her attitude carries the quality of the Visionary that presumes its auxiliaries: the intuition, the equilibrium of the humility, the opening of the conscience’s gate, an attitude profoundly assumed in the course of time.
