This magical book and its authors teach you to be a writer! Each composition is neatly divided into the three parts you know: introduction, body and conclusion. Plus you have valuable advice on what to write in each of these parts. Courage! Grab your pencil (you can also chew on the end) and get to work! A beautifully lined page awaits you to overcome your fear of white!
I can only urge all of you, dear children, not to be just any child, but to be full of courage, patience and diligence in order to pass well through the magical pages of the magical book opened before you magical children! Because, yes, English is magical!

There is a real need for work materials for children at increasingly higher levels, in contexts that match their areas of interest. The present book happily manages this niche, through rigorously conceived material, but also imaginative at the same time.
Writing texts in English has always been a challenge - that's why the book builds guided writing exercises step by step, which invite the child to progress from the level of expressions and phrases to the level of increasingly elaborate sentences and phrases.

Elena Glass
Prof. didactic degree I, Methodist, National College "Gh. Lazarus"

The didactic approach proposed by this collection is student-centered in content and form. Through the attitude it promotes, gathering in discussion contributes to openness to communication in English. The varied content, perfectly suitable for the age for which it is designed, and the integrative approach are arguments to recommend the analyzed collection for publication, having the conviction that it will be a useful tool for the teacher, but especially an effective one for the students.

This collection is, we hope, a useful tool for 4th and 5th grade students, both those who are preparing for their first exam, the one for admission to classes with intensive English language teaching, and those who they want to work through a slightly different approach, learning with the help of beloved characters, both from cartoons and films, novels or stories.
Magic English for Your First Exams contains 20 chapters, starting with an important part, grammar, which we did not want to neglect. A text follows, usually a story, with questions on understanding the text, the conversation part and, finally, the writing part. There is a natural continuity of exercises, which are designed both to cover all stages of the reception-production process in learning a foreign language (doing grammar, reading, reading comprehension, speaking and writing), and to transform this process into a as pleasant as possible for the students.

May it be of use to you, dear children!
