Integrated Management System is applicable to the organizations in various fields of activity, regardless of their size and complexity, seeking to demonstrate the ability to deliver, with consistency, product (service) quality, and those who want to improve their performance and competitiveness in national and international markets. Implementation reduce costs of implementation and certification of management systems according to ISO, provides an overview of the management organization, allows coherent planning activities by considering the organization, in a related, the issue of quality, environment, health and safety work, decision making and optimize resource consumption used.
The paper presents results of the project "Development and implementation of integrated management systems" made in 2007-2010, conducted in partnership between seven institutions interested in this problem, which has appointed a team of specialists who have significant results in the field and who has fundamentato theory on integrated management systems, the design and implementation of integrated system components (procedures), has defined a methodology by which such systems be implemented and used in the manufacturing, service, and in public institutions and made a decision support system for assisting the implementation of integrated management systems.
Chapter 1 - Integrated Management (Author: Professor Sorin Ionescu), covers the evolution of management systems, requirements for implementation of integrated management systems, common processes management subsystems, achieving integrated management system at company level and presentation of DI-SIM project as a case study.
In Chapter 2 - New forms of management companies and specific (Author: Associate Professor Caesar Botezatu) was synthesized conceptual evolution of virtual organizations, specific management elements forming virtual organizations, and a number of technologies and systems for management of virtual organizations.
Chapter 3 - Best practices for design and implementation of information systems (Author: Prof. Dr. Cornelia Pauina Botezatu) deals with methods of implementation of information systems.
In the following chapters are presented results on implementation of decision support system for integrated management system implementation.
Chapter 4 - Requirements for implementation of decision support system of enterprise information system (Author: Associate Professor George Carutasu) contains general considerations on the specification of decision support systems and project site.
In Chapter 5 - Technical design for achieving site-DI card and SSD component (Authors: Associate Professor George Carutasu and as.drd. Alin Cristian Joita) are detailed stages of design, testing and implementation for the site and SSD component for the implementation of integrated management system.
The book is intended for undergraduate students and Economic Information Systems Master of Business Management Faculty of Business Management, the RAU but also all those who want to deepen the implementation of decision support systems for integrated management systems.
