We sail in an ocean of dreams and imaginations, crowded in the wake of concepts in which we often do not find ourselves because they were either imposed on us or we copied them from others, convinced that they will suit us. Increasingly alienated, we feed on chimeras, living in personal universes, in which thoughts seem figurative in a surreal film. Beyond the doors that close behind us, we ignore the world, convinced that we set the rules of the game. Until this new unknown world changes the game, and we wake up prisoners of our own isolation strategies.
Four destinies under the same roof end up discovering and opening their universes in a situation that they have neither generated nor can control. Sometimes life puts us in greater challenges than the buildings we build to save ourselves. And then, only then, do we really begin to live.
"The house with four windows", drawn with so much talent by Daniela Bordei, is a book as a revelation for all of us, who today are forced to face the challenges of such a strange present, whose chaotic waves envelop us like in a fog perspective on the future, which has suddenly become so uncertain.
The story of the three families, of the old colonel and of the so discreet and worthy housekeeper who all intersect their destinies, inside the House with four windows imagined by Daniela Bordei is in fact a story of social archetypes that give consistency to our society. It is the introspection of a microuniverse in which each of us can easily find our place and which faithfully reveals to us the legitimacy that governs the entire social ensemble, helping us to understand the true dimension of the challenges of the present.
