Well articulated on this relation of the self to external realities, some much, much more important or more dramatic than the personal ones (the case of the character Lydia, for example, or of the grandmother herself, from the moment "when the communists came", or of the last lover, awaiting the danger of the death of his son, no less of his friends in France, hit by the death of their daughter), Camelia Tamas' novel also puts on the page the "face" of her native land major tense events), but also of the world from long and wide (Paris and Provence are privileged), with temporal overlaps following the course of memories, with detailed news on the plastic creation of the heroine, with a good and invigorating knowledge / use of idioms defining various characters - in other words, a "living" novel, in a formula of real (historical)-fiction expected, regardless of other literary "fashions", by the reader faithful to literature-as-the-mirror of the world. Especially since the happy ending, in balance with the love story of the heroine's parents, comes somewhat surprising, but when the right time is fulfilled "for everything" and "melts" the fears and doubts against which the author the complicated fabric and, at the same time, the natural character Iulia, our contemporary.

Born on April 20, 1970 in Resita, a graduate of the Faculty of Psychology at Spiru Haret University in Bucharest, CAMELIA TAMAS stepped into the realm of literature for the first time through poetry. She published lyrics in local magazines, participated in literary competitions and won several awards, but he felt that prose offers him a wider space for action and the opportunity to reproduce on paper not only moods and feelings, but real cramps of life. and destinies marked by ideals and inner struggles.
He made his editorial debut in 1998, with the volume of short prose CHATELAINE, Mirton Publishing House, Timisoara, a bundle of writings with lyrical and dreamlike inserts, well received by local critics.
Convinced that each book must be a step of the ladder that leads to the completion of the author, she approaches, in 2005, a complex writing, the novel A LIGHTHOUSE AT THE EDGE OF THOUGHT, in which destinies intersect naturally, outlining love stories and especially life, in which the reader is called to meditate, to understand and, perhaps, to feel.
The following year, he proves his writing vigor and versatility, in the pages of the novel A BAGGER'S CALENDAR, Editura Tim, Resita, in which he “credibly depicts, on a suggestive social background, unforgiving life to sensational and atrocious events ", as presented by the poet and man of culture Nicolae Sarbu.
After a long break from the fiction scene, during which time he collaborated with cultural magazines from Resita, Bocsa and Timisoara, he returns with INTERIOR PORTRAITS, a volume with a modern writing, which still retains the foreshadowed style from the first novel. And it offers, as the man of culture and the critic Gheorghe Jurma remarks, to the author's entire prose, "a strong sensation of life - an attribute of authentic writers - on the edge of a realism of psychological analysis."
Although in his work, carried out in the medical field, he has no tangent with literature, he has a special relationship with books, which he considers "indispensable objects, meant to broaden our horizons". Read daily, books from all fields, is up to date with the latest editorials, but periodically returns to the classics, the great Russian literature, the titans of French literature or the Victorians, as they always return to travel to places that offered them perfect vacancy.
