The Romanian Criminal Law Course - The general part, the third edition revised and added, elaborated according to the Romanian Criminal Code in force, is intended for students from the 2nd year of studies at the Faculty of Law.

The provisions of the Criminal Code were examined and systematized on the fundamental institutions of criminal law: crime, criminal law sanctions and criminal liability.

The criminal law institutions that have known a new regulation have received a generous space in the course, benefiting from more extensive explanations, for a detailed knowledge. In this sense, the problems of: application of the criminal law in time and space, the notion of "crime", justifying and imputability cases, accessory punishments and complementary punishments, criminal liability of minors, criminal liability of the legal person could be listed.

The opinions expressed in the specialized literature, but also the solutions from the judicial practice were capitalized in order to offer a better knowledge of the criminal law institutions by the students and by the interested ones.

In this third edition of the Romanian Criminal Law Course - General Part, additional arguments were made in support of opinions on the essential features of the crime, the forms of plurality of crimes in relation to the conditions of existence and application of punishment and were amplified the explanations regarding the individualization of the punishments and of the causes that remove the execution of the punishments and of the consequences of the conviction.
