I would never sign a pact, angelic or Machiavellian, that would promise me that I would return to my 15 years, to travel the same path again. There is nothing in this world to compensate for the horrors and pain experienced between 1941 and 1944. Like any life, mine is an ever-changing dance, between creation and destruction, gain and loss, successes and defeats, joys and sorrows, roads made and others abandoned.
If I have to notice one thing, it is that my greatest success was to choose my partner. Klara has been my companion for more than 60 years, and every time the Wheel of Fortune spun she was with me with love, attachment and unconditional support.
As an elixir of life, I can only say that I would be fully pampered by fate, if the next generations will continue to be animated by a sense of solidarity, generosity and honesty. These values have been alpha and omega for me, and I want them to become links that will strongly unite many generations of good people in the eternity to come.
