The conference was an opportunity for analysis, discussion and evaluation of cultural, political and social in that time have competed in increasing manifestations of antisemitism. With the establishment of the National Legionary State, in September 1940, anti-Semitism in Romania started to strengthen the state policy. Extreme manifestations of anti-Semitic policy of deportation and extermination of the state were a significant part of the Hebrew population in Romania and the territories administered by it, in the period 1941-1942. Seen from the perspective of time, the years that have passed since the pogrom in Bucharest, today it appears that peak Legionary events and antisemitic policy.
