We, the teachers of pedagogy, strongly believe that education interests us all, regardless of the professions we have opted for or will opt for.
#MeToo, #BlackLivesMatter, #LearningPoverty, #StopChildMarriage, #ThereIsNoPlanetB, #FridaysForFuture are probably phrases that we have heard frequently and that we will continue to hear, as they are the expression of profound and impactful educational, social and economic realities psychological and societal major. In a context where uncertainty becomes a constant, education for all, freedom and equality are necessary values to develop better societies and a stronger sense of social cohesion.
This course aims to analyze some social realities with which each of us is more or less familiar, the general objective being that of raising awareness of the importance of education in personal, social and economic development.
The construction of this course is also based on the integration of students' experiences and their contributions as essential aspects.
Opinions may be different, but equally valuable!
Therefore, the preconditions associated with participating in this training module are less traditional: disposition for cooperation, flexibility, reflectivity, availability to speak and listen actively, interest in reading and independent academic learning.

The course support is structured in such a way as to facilitate your learning experiences. We will address several topics, which have a similar structure:
1. Duration: Each topic of the course has an estimated duration, giving you an idea of how much time you should spend studying each section. This is just a recommendation. You can spend more time if necessary.
2. Theme objectives: At the beginning of each theme, you will find its objectives, which will give you a clear picture of the theme's intentions and the results we aim to achieve.
3. Key concepts: Each theme includes a list of key concepts essential for understanding the subject.
4. Theme summary: This section presents an overview of the content, helping you understand the general context and importance of the topic. Each theme is introduced through a story, which we invite you to read with a wide open mind.
5. Activities: We encourage you to actively participate in the learning activities included in the course support, such as exercises, case studies or discussions, projects and challenges, to enrich your learning experience.
6. Additional recommendations: To deepen and enrich the understanding of the theme, each section includes recommendations for reading, movies, music, podcasts and other relevant resources. These recommendations are carefully chosen to offer you diverse and in-depth perspectives on the topic. We suggest you explore these additional resources to enrich your knowledge and improve your learning experience.

A clear understanding of the purpose and structure of the course support, together with the recommended additional resources will facilitate your learning process and help you achieve the set goals.
